A lonely wanderer
With restless feet
I bounce around
And never settle
I am mysterious
Building thick walls
That never crash
I’m southern pride
And Carolina born
Guilford County Educated
A painful memory
No one knows
What I do
What I dream
The many towns
My mind creates
Expressive and introverted
Pure and tainted
I’m hopelessly broken
In Jesus’ name
My nomadic heart
Will never tell
You’ll never know
