I figured goin back home

Would make the tears stop

Bring my head up

Bein here was too much

To bare

But I made it through

And I feel better too

But the only thing

Stopin the smile on my face

Is You

I Ignored the way you felt

In the hopes of someone else

I thougt it'd be okay

I didn't know

I was makin a big mistake

Forgive me this one time

For leaving you behind

For not speakin up

I was afraid of love

But you could of been

Worth the risk

Instead of livin like this

I clamed up,

Closed up

Cause of my past

Instead of lookin to the future

And hopin this would last

But I wouldn't know about this

Since it didn't exist

Forgive me

For playin your heart

No one will look at me

Smile at me

And I took the risk

Of never seeing you again

Now my head hangs low

And the tears fall

They might as well
