My grandfather´s crucifix necklace has always been with him. In fact I do not remember a time in which he has taken it off. Every time I visit, that crucifix is always around his neck. Through out the years I have always wondered why that crucifix was so important to him. Since his childhood, he was raised into a very religious family. To this day, he continues to embrace those values, which are represented in his crucifix necklace. The crucifix has been alongside my grandfather every day. That necklace is what makes him feel motivated to make the best out of every day. It keeps him going day in and day out. Recently I learned the crucifix belonged to my great-grandfather. My grandfather once told me all of the struggles that his father had endured and the crucifix was always beside him. Being raised with little money made the necklace much special. According to my grandfather his family was in financial trouble. One day he put his faith in the crucifix and that resulted in his family gaining a good amount of money. This crucifix is not an ordinary one. It has been in his life for so long that he´s been through very though and very happy times with it. Every time he is in need of a religious guidance, the crucifix has helped him always.  The crucifix definitely has helped my grandfather hopefully one day he´ll give it to me and help me in my everyday life.
