The beginning of a happy world
Thirteen billion years ago the entire universe was the size of an egg. At some point there was an enormous explosion, and, little by little, the planets formed, the stars multiplied, and space expanded and expanded and expanded. The gods of the universe convened a meeting at the Great Council of Heaven in order to decide what to do with the little blue planet that they had named “Earth.” Filled with luscious lakes and oceans, fertile green valleys, and the bluest of skies, the gods wanted to create a happy world. “How should we start the happy world,” asked one god.
The gods thinking about the issue decided to visit Earth. While they were at the little and blue world they notice it wasn't that little and instead they admire a vast and gorgeous world. When they were floating around the Earth someone said, " I look the world and it seems very pretty, all the grass, the trees, the great oceans and the sky with all its clouds, but I think it needs something more.”
The Gods visit every single part of the planet but at the end, when they have to leave, they were all agree with the fist that talked and felt that the Earth was a very lonely place. When Gods returned to Heaven they started to decide how to change this feeling of loneliness.
"Maybe..." one of the Gods said, “Maybe if we make something different, something that moves, something with life.”
“Oh yeah!, we could do some living creatures that inhabit the whole planet”, another one shouted
Another god said, “Yeah, see the big, deep, blue and enormous ocean and it looks great, to me it also looks pretty lonely, without energy, I think it needs some of that life.”
“So let´s make some fishes that fill the sea.”
“And some sharks to make it interesting.”
“Also a big fish and let´s call it whale.”
“Hey, but also look at the big blue sky; with clouds and all the stars, it needs some life too.”
“Yeah, let´s make some birds that fly all across the sky.”
“And also big birds, that we can call ostriches.”
“But if it is too big it wouldn´t fly.”
“So let’s put it in the green valleys.”
“But we are going to need more animals besides all the ostriches”.
“So let´s make some dogs, cats, horses, pigs, donkeys, monkeys, reptiles, cows, frogs, deer, raccoons and some bugs.”
“But, what about the South Pole?”
“Let´s put some penguins there.”
“Hey, we can also make some humans”, one god said.
“Are you sure?” all the other gods said at the same time.
“I don´t know, it´s just an idea”, the god responded.
“But humans could mess up with our happy world plan”.
“Well, it´s a risk” the god of the idea said.
“An unnecessary risk” another one said.
“Hmm, yeah maybe you are right, they could change the whole world, and maybe not for good” the god of the idea resigned.
“So this is it, now the world is full of live and it looks better” a god said and everyone agree with him.
So this is how the happy world started and all the animals inhabit the earth, there were no humans, and all the living creatures live in harmony and were each other friends. Everyone look up to take care of nature and everything was good.
