i cannot stop the burning

this deep wound that will not heal

i cannot stop my existence

this burden of torment i feel

i cannot force peace inside

this horrible peace that i seek

i cannot bring freedom here

this prison so dark, so bleak

i cannot wear your masks anymore

this iron mask you have used to enslave

i cannot shout this secret

for fear i am depraved
