Trying to find out what I already know

I have to tell you, before you go

It might make you leave or even stay

But it's something that I have to say



I've never met any guy like you

I know you and her are through

But, I just had him to break up too

We do what we have to do.



We may never get together

Might not be friends forever

I know now, what is real

This is how, I really feel.



Writing it down, is easier for me

This is the way, it's got to be

I need you here at least for now

I hope you know this some how.



I might not be the best, but what I say hurts

What I want to say don't come out in a blurt

I like you. There, the words I have said

But, the thought of you still is here in my head.
