Scars once bleed out all the pain

Scars left it's hard to explain

Scars needed a friend to hold

Scars never once oh so bold

Scars left to remind me of the past

Scars helped to rid pain; make it not last

Scars once toren open to help me feel

Scars there to remind me how pain is real.
