Standing alone
She shakes her head and wipes her tears,
she cant change what they've done.
What started as a simple touch,
she'll face now whats to come.
In just one moment her whole life changed,
to bear this is her choice.
Wishing he could feel the pain,
the judgment in his voice.
She goes to school and tries to think,
past her pounding head.
Though she'd rather be back at home,
curled up warm in bed.
When it all comes crashing down,
her whole world falls apart.
She thinks of how she felt that day,
she saw that beating heart. <3
