We are given
The chance
To do
The right thing
To ignore
The allure
Of greed
And be a decent
Human being
We always
Have a choice
When we see
Someone
In need
We make the choice
Whether to help
Or look away
Lend a hand
Or just be
Indifferent
To anothers
Suffering
So ask I you
Which are you
The person
Who helps
Or the person
Who pretends
Not to notice
And walks away
Without a care
Every day
We face this choice
One way or another
And I beg you
Not to take said
Decision lightly
For you never know
Who you might save
By helping
Even just a little
