Why is it

People
Inspire
Through fear
It is called
Politics
And is somehow
Considered
A good thing
But when
Someone
Tries to
Inspire
With positivity
They are
Often called
By those same
People
Weak, misinformed,
Dreamers and hippies
The fear
Speaks for
What could happen
But so does
The optimism
Tell me society
When did we
Go from a group
Of dreamers
Who knew better
Things were
Possible to
A group of pessimists
Who looked down
On the dreamers
Because we are now
So sure that better
Will never happen
Seriously society
What happened?
