The free soul
The soul
That knows
Exactly
Who it is
And will
Settle for
Being nothing less
The soul
That makes
Those in power
Nervous
Because they
Refuse to
Be brainwashed
Into conformity
The soul
That thinks
For itself
And encourages
Others to do the same
That never gives
Up on what they dream
And again encourages
Others to do the same
The soul of an individual
That won't back down
From being exactly
Who they are
Yeah that soul
Long live that soul
And may we strive
To be more like it
