Curious about
Why so many
In 2013
Still have to fight
For the right
To say they are free
Whether it be
A matter of gay rights
In our own country
Or women
Still fighting
For equality in
The middle east
All this shit
Makes no sense
At all to me
Who are we
As a society
I mean really
To say who
Gets rights
And equality
And who doesn't
I am so sick
Of the fact
That for every
Step forward
In many ways
We keep taking
Two steps back
And I just can't accept that
This fussing
And fighting
Needs to end
And for once
A true message
Of peace
World wide
We need to send
If we ever truly
Want to see
This nonsense
Come to an end
