We all bleed
We all need
The same basic things
And we all breath
The same air
Yes it seems
That no matter where
You go
We are at our core
The same everywhere
Yet we always seem
To judge
And misjudge
So horribly
And the excuses
For it, it seems
Just keep getting
Worse and worse
And still we wonder
Why this world
Seems so absurd
Could it be
That we
Just don't
Take the time to learn
To read beyond the cover
And actually appreciate others
And realize that though
We may be different
What makes us different
Ultimately makes us the same
