Bright and full
Shining down
On a world
So hungry
And cold
Seeing so many wars
That have gotten
Just so beyond old
Seeing so many of us
Forgetting
The true meaning
Of the word trust
Liars, users,
Abusers,
Too many killers
Not enough
Peace seekers
We claim to be
Moving forward
But are we really
Ode to the moon
So so bright
And full
May we see the reality
It sees
As we look upon it
