The world in which we live
May be crumbling
And struggling
But me and my fellow
Dreamers and believers
Are still dreaming
And forever believing
In one day seeing
A better world
In which we are living
Because we have seen
The peace
That we do seek
And in it
We will always believe
We have seen
Beyond the greed
That most do see
And we see the kindness
Of those who show it
Oh so quietly
In the shadows
They may be
But they do exist
Believe me
They do
What they do
For me and you
Not for credit
But because it
Is the right
Thing to do
And they hope the peace
They bring
To strangers
Like you and me
Will come back around
In the name of peace
Just as it should be
