For a place to live
And a warm bed
Food in my belly
And roof
Over my head
I am thankful
For my family
Who despite a lot of things
Still love me
I am thankful
Because of good people
I never did
End up on the street
I am thankful
For those who saw
And accepted me
For me
A lot of things
For which I am thankful
Not everyone has
So everyday
Make sure to find
One thing
At the very least
That for you are thankful
And never forget
To remember
Those who don't have
Nearly as much as you
