That lies
So majestic in the sky
Poetry for my
Oh so weary eyes
Nothing short
Of inspiration
In the sky
Can you please
Just tell me why
Society just lives
Oh so blind
When will we hear
The lonely cries
Of the poor
And the hungry
Who namelessly die
Night after night
When will we hear
Their cries
The cries of those
Who need our help tonight
Those who know nothing
But what it is to be all alone
When will we finally care
That this world
Is just not fair
