I have had enough of this
An eye for an eye
Just making us all blind
While we all deny
The truth we see inside
All this fighting day and night
We all know it's just not right
Yet there never seems to be
An end in sight
Tell me world
How do you sleep at night
When another day
Almost every day
Takes yet another child's life
The people of Syria
The world does hear ya
And we wish we knew what to do
But to those who kill
And claim the life
of yet another innocent child
While thinking you actually have the right
Again I ask
How do you sleep at night
