The movie that defined

The childhoods of 
All of us in the 90's
He was our hero
Our Dino Doctor
But oh my friends
That beautiful man

Was so much more
Than simply that
He taught us all
That life finds a way
While turning darkside
At the very edge of
Space itself
Event Horizon
Making our blood pressure rise
Where we are going
We don't need eyes
And the magic
Oh the magic
In that man
When playing the greatest
Of all time Merlin
To say I was addicted
To watching him
Doesn't even begin
Every time I would see
Him on my screen
Oh how my face lit up
Like a Christmas tree
Oh the levels on which 
He always made me happy
And the decades 
I spent loving him
Oh so proudly
The kind of person
We should all strive to be
He was the best
Of all of us
My childhood hero
Is gone
And I will forever miss
That beautiful soul
That was a rare warmth
In a world so cold
RIP our dear beautiful Sam
Thank you for being
The hero 
That broke the mold
And teaching us all
How truly beautiful
In a society so hateful
It is still possible to be
