Migrants and
Immigrants

The only difference
Is their country
Of origin
That's it
Yet some look at them

Like their entire existence

Is nothing short

Of an original sin
We don't want
Them here
Don't let them in
Criminals all of them
The lying politician
On the tv said so
So we don't want them here

We said no
Round them up
They've got to go
Welcome everybody
To society's shit show

Human beings
For a better life

Their home
Country fleeing

With dreams
Of living free
Only to be met
By the worst of humanity
I can't believe this

Is the world in which
I am living

The only home and life
To them ever known
Left behind
Their friends and family too
And yet it in their hearts
To them be kind

The racists Patriots
Just can't find
Hate filled rhetoric
And manipulated news
Making sure that
Doesn't change
Any time soon
Kool aid addicted right
Believing about them
The mad ones lies
Doing everything
They can to make sure
Fellow human beings
See them as less than human
When the only difference 
Between them
Is their country of origin
