Pushing toxic beliefs and conformity
Coming at you daily
Trying to get in your head
And make you think like them
Saying why think for yourself
When we can think for you
While trying to force the
Proverbial kool aid
Down your throat
With lies about being
Good for you
What you need
While they alone
Benefit from any of it
Preaching herd mentality
And trying to sell the herd
As a type of family
That will give you
A sense of power
While actually taking it away
Be the one
Who sees through it all
Who says no to it
Because you don't need
And have never wanted it
Because power has never been
What you wanted
Power like that
Is always toxic
And never leads
Anywhere good
You don't need it
You know better
You don't want to
Be a leader
Or a follower
Of their precious
Toxic power
You are a dreamer
One that fights
For the sake and rights
Of others
You are what they hate
Because you prefer to do things
For the right reasons
And the right way
You my friend are an inspirer
