Time is the lie
For which
We all fight
Fighting day and night

For more and more time
Thinking it is a prize

That can just be won
Never willing
To just accept
That when it is truly our time
There is nothing

That can be done
So why waste the life we have
Fighting and destroying
Each other over time
We tell ourselves

Will always be there
When none of us

Have any to spare

Life’s magical elixir
We always think
Gain enough
We will live forever
Your time is up
Life of you has had enough

Your money
And power
Mean nothing anymore

All the wars we fight

While to our own truth
Living blind

Thinking power
Will bring immortality
As well as those
Who will bow to us willingly
Cater to our every need
While death away keeping
At the very least
Thinking we will go down positively
In the books of history
And if nothing else that will
Let us live forever
When in reality
All we will go down as

Is a moment of time
