One step forward
Then far too

Many back
Here we go again
My ever waking

Nightmare
All over again
Mind bending
And never ending

Always keeping
Me guessing
About the 
So called sanity
Of the society
All around me
It's like living in 
The asylum from hell
Only no one ever
Gets well

Waking up daily
In a cold sweat wondering
What the damage will be today
This is no way
To fucking live
We all know it

Yet we just 
Go with it
I am living in a world
That just makes
No sense

Verse 2
Morally
Economically
The confusion
Mystifies me
Children dying
At the hands 
Of those who should
Never have that power
While the rest of the country
Fights to keep the right to it
Just comes off as insanity

To me
Then there is health care
That we don't
Seem to understand
Needs to include
Mental health care
And fair medication prices
All while ignoring those dying
From our negligence
Come on society
