Fallen we have
Farther than we
Can afford to fall
And blind we are
To all of it
See it we don't
No not at all
The consequences
Of the things we do
So horrible they are
They are unimaginable
And yet the right,
Man thinks they have
To do such things
Think we are
Invincible we do
Not a care
In the world
Or about each other
Do they have
As they continue to fall
Without an understanding
As to why
Deaf mankind is
To their own cries
Forever trapped
They are
By their hate
And anger
Creators of
Their own madness
Killing them it is
And yet they still
Don't see it
Very sad it is
Yes very sad indeed
And change it
We must
If we are ever
Get out of this rut
