I am not you

And you are not me
We are both different

As it should be

And those differences
Deserve to
Not just be seen
But cherished
Celebrated
And learned from 

Not just tossed aside
Or beaten down
Like they are 
And mean nothing 
Embrace the different
The rebellious

And unique 
We are here
For a reason

Do yourself
A favor
Figure out

What that is

Before you judge us

Chances are
You will like it

If only you are
Willing to be
Open to seeing it
We mean not
To change 
Who you 
Truly are
Or cause you
Any harm
But merely 

To free you
From conformist
Insanity
And hatreds 
Confusion
Help you 
See love
Spread acceptance

And knowledge
Make you think
For yourself
Instead of
Telling you

Of what to dream
Then just writing you off
As another sheep
That needs not to be
No we are not 
Like you 
We are different

And happy to be
But we are also
Not the enemy
All we want really

Is what you want

We just want

To be free
