Walking out
Into my backyard
I smile up
At a full moon
A blue moon
Bright and rare
Whose magick
Surrounds me
Everywhere
Wrapping me
In an embrace
Of zen
Making me feel
Whole again
My troubles fade
My heart
No longer aches
As my mind does race
Suddenly I feel
Like I could do
Anything
And that feeling
Is nothing
Short of intoxicating
I pause a moment
To take it all in
Before I start
Walking back
Towards
The door
To go back inside
Suddenly though
I stop
For a moment
Turn and smile
Once more
At a moon
Well worth waiting for
And whisper
Thank you
My dear old friend
And until next time
As always
Blessed be
