But need to

Society
As we know it today

Lives far
Too comfortably
And blindly
Oblivious
To the real
Horrors
Of the world
It lives in
Because in

Their mind
If some politician
Swears it's nothing
To worry about
Then that is
Enough
Even for
A society
That knows better
To believe
And this

Habit
Has become
A dangerous one
Which is why
Society
I beg you
Open your eyes
See the truth
For once

Even the truth

That hurts
And start dealing
With it
Productively
Before things
Get any worse
Because clearly

What we have

Been doing
Has just not

Been working
