Everyday heroes
We take
For granted

In society
Who are unsung
Un noticed
Seemingly
Unseen
Those heroes
Who are
Under appreciated
As hell
But about that
They don't
Even care
Because
They don't do
What they do

For the
Recognition
The volunteers
Who volunteer
Their time
Just to make
A difference
In someone's life
The activists
Who do whatever

They can
To fight
To make
Things better
For their
Fellow man
Food shelf workers

Who help the hungry
Have something
To eat
Homeless
Shelter workers
Giving people
A place to sleep
All these people
Give all they have

For others
And are often

Never thanked
For it
So thank you
Everyday heroes
For making the world
That much better
