I am grateful
To have
A roof
Over my head
And a mother
Who would

Do anything

To help me
Even if doing so

Meant others

Calling her crazy
I am grateful
To have a mother

Who gets me

And is patient
Enough to
Put up with me

Even when
Others won't
And will go out of
Her way when she
Knows I need her too
To let me know
That despite
What I think
Of myself
I am pretty remarkable
And that she is
Proud to be
My mom

Which is great
Because
I honestly
Could not
Be prouder
To call her
My mother
