Should ever
Have to hide
Who they are
Just because
Some people
Are so hateful
And ignorant
They have a
Problem
With it
Race, religion,
Gender,
Sexual preference
None of those things
Are really the problem
No society
You know what the
Problem is
The fact that
People are so hateful
They have
Problems with it
Plain and simple
It's not race, or religion,
Gender, or sexual preference
That is destroying
Us as a society
What is destroying us
Is quite simply
The ignorance
Behind the hatred
Of such things
And it drives
Me crazy
That even in 2015
We are still too hateful
To know better
