Through
Distorted eyes
Given to me
By those
Who live in
A world of lies
And on broken dreams
I am angry
But determined
To find
The real me
And be
The person
I choose
To be
Not the one
They always
Chose for me
And as far
As those
Distorted eyes
I am determined
As ever
To see the truth
Start seeing
Reality more
Clearly
But not to
Spite them
But instead
Because I believe
The truth
When seen
Whatever it
May be
Will in a sense
One way
Or another
Set me free
