They can

Little they have
Because
At the end
Of the day
They too
Understand
What that
Person
Is going though
And if they
Can help
Even a little
Just to ease
Their suffering
They themselves
Know far too well
More often
Than not
I bet they will do it
Because those
In pain
Are just
More likely
To care
And want to
Do something
About others' pain
But it shouldn't
Be that way
We should all care
Whether we
Understand
The pain
Or not
If for
No other reason
Than yes it is
The right thing to do
