Dear Daughter:
First and foremost you are loved unconditionally, there’s no doubt about that. Some people even say that I spoil you because I know what it was like to not have a lot of things that you are blessed to have in your life. You have a room, phone, bed, xbox, tv, wifi. You complain because you get 5 dollars a week for allowance but haven’t gotten because I said I won’t reward bad behavior. You wondered why mom, grandparents and auntie took you out of school for Veterans Day to sit around with them and other old veterans. You don’t understand why, as your friends put it, that “your mom doesn’t work because she retired and disabled from the Army, but their mom works. Your mom must be lazy.” I literally sent you my schedule weeks ago of what I do, yet I don't do anything during the day and don't pay taxes. Mom walking the floor and praying over the house each and every night for peace, and protection over you, our families and our country. Mom is in constant pain daily but she can’t take the pain meds because she knows that she is all you’ve got. Yes we are blessed with the village of Auntie and grandparents that are veterans. However, mom’s older blood sister passed away in 2024 and we won’t go there when it comes to your bio dad. We will just say that he needs Jesus. Mom dealing with a budget that few people couldn’t even fathom to say the least. No, we don't get EBT. I wish you would look up and really research what a veteran is. It isn’t just things mom talks about in the Army. It’s deeper than that.I have friends that I will never see again that were lost during deployments. They weren’t just friends. They were family. You wonder why I am so close to Auntie and grandparents even though we aren’t blood and we are military. We share something that only certain people know. Military families know and veterans know. It’s an oath that says we don’t see color, we just see the person to the left and right of us who will always have our back and we will always have theirs. We are soldiers of the cross. We trust in God. We are God fearing, believe the Word of God and have faith in the only true GOD. We take care of one another because we are family.
GOD is first in mom's life because if it weren't for him you wouldn't be here. She wouldn't be here. I really wish that you would take the time to understand that just because I love you doesn't mean that you are entitled to all my stuff or stuff, on any level. Yes mom is retired, yes bills are paid and yes God has blessed us, however it does not mean that it all cant just go away in a heartbeat. Your friends and their parents and other influences tell you what you want to hear. I tell you the truth. I ask you to help with simple tasks Iike…picking up paper from the couch or putting clothes in the dryer and I get the attitude and roll eyes and yelling. You tell me that I yell at you and I have told you several times that I speak loudly due to hearing issues. I can give you an example of yelling. I keep telling you that I am not your atm nor maid. I keep trying to sit down with you to give you wisdom shared to no avail. The only time I actually get alone with you is in the vehicle and even then you put your ear things in so you can't or don't want to hear me.You pull the mom you tell me to ask questions line, funny you only do it when it suits you to make a point to try and get over on something. As you noticed…it doesn't work. I love and no matter what. I had you dedicated twice and have turned you over to God since I knew you were here. I'm not sending you anywhere, giving up on you, going anywhere. I will continue living my life. Loving and serving the one true God who takes care of us. God is in control. Your mother is an anointed woman of God, an intercessor with several gifts including discernment.
You are a good person. You are loved. I am proud of the young lady you are growing up to be. That you stand up for others. Don't forget to strand up for yourself also when you see something wrong. Come to me with anything bothering you. anytime day or night. Im here.
Love Your Mom
