Little fairy girlz
dance on the flowers, and
Light green blades of fresh grass!
Dance on the top of the tulips,
And round, round the
Roses go!
Little elvish boys,
Laugh it up, as the winds
Doth blow,
Heavenly winds, make
Their rakish hairs fly skyward
They look devilishly delightful,
Advancing on the the petals
Of dew drops!
Lilting lilacs , dancing in the
Wind, shedding a sweet aroma,
Nestled in the garden square.
I long to smell the scented flowers,
And lie among the crimson roses, as
Petals among me fall
So close to my face softly.
The dancing fairies laugh, with
Half delight, for they’ve
Felled a giant human in their
Midst….with scented lilacs ,
“that works everytime”! they
giggle!
I surely wish to see one or two, but,
Save for tall grasses and rich flowery gatherings,
Of roses, lilacs and tulips, entwined with
Other flowers around, I cannot see beyond
My own world….so I guess for now, they
Stay out of reach, but close enough for me
To hear delightful sweet happy laughter!
