My life was good,
It was going just the way it should,
I'm Jewish you see,
We're as religious as any can be,
One day the soldiers came,
And they said we were to blame,
They took us from our places,
And shot our parents in front of our faces,
We tried to stay with our families, stay together,
We all had been dreading this forever,
One by one we were taken away,
To concentration camps where they made us stay,
Innocent were raped, hung, shot, gassed, and burned,
We aren't all bad, I wish they could've learned,
So many lives changed and many have died,
It's horrible that some continue to let this event be denied,
Deny it we must not,
for this occurrence should never be forgot.
