no it isn't

it cant be true

i still feel the pain

I'm coming unglued



i try so hard

to deny this pain

yet still it comes

yet more it gains



i try to uproot

its grip, its pain

yet still it seeps

even more it drains



denial it seems

a lost battle now

i can still win

but i don't know how



once more in futility

i must try again

to break free of this cage

to loosen these chains



i scream into the dark

"I know i still do!

Goddammit, let go,

I still love you!"



i await the coming

the nearing end

yet still i am stranded

never to be free again....
