Last night, I stood outside in the rain
I held my hands to the side and let it
sting my fingertips
I opened my mouth and tasted the sky
and I thought of you again
And I thought of my failed attempts to
capture your heart
while I've been standing here, holding mine
But it's been getting heavier and heavier all this time
I think I'll just shove it back into its cave
and leave it alone

I let it become my tears because I do not
have my own anymore
