I go dreaming in your eyes

Close to you, a pure self

A stream of something true

Searing pain acidic tears

From eyes that see a place

Through a mind that’s real and knows

The entire world by heart

I wish the world smiled

And your contentment doubled

Or if I, myself could freeze it

To feel you in embrace

Movie-like time flows by

And you know the future

Of the weight that is upon you

Tiring what is left

Vehement changes glowing eye

You fear what’s to come

I’ll hold you if you start to cry

Because it’s different this time
