For quite sometime now,
I've been canvasing a side so empty,
A side of me that is of a void,
Solitude can be found deep within me.
Still I remain hopeful...
Behind the shades of mine,
Which are filled with darkness,
Stands a man who through time,
That has loved even those too heartless.
Still I remain hopeful...
Hopeful, still I remain indeed,
Because somewhere in this world,
There is an ideal companion for me.
... somewhere in this world.
As I arise each day in hope
That I shall encounter that girl,
I have to be optimistic to cope
With the harsh denial of the world.
Still I remain hopeful...
She is waiting on me to enter,
Enter a new place in my life with her;
For love I'd wait, then would surrender,
I would forfeit my all for a life I'd prefer.
Still I remain hopeful...
Hopeful, still I remain indeed,
Because somewhere in this world,
There is an ideal companion for me.
... somewhere in this world.
