Heavenly Father, I come before you tonight
On these bent knees in reference for my life;
I just want to thank you for allowing me to wake up
With five senses and my mind to be prayed up;
Lord, you have blessed me in season and out,
Stood in my corner in times when I had doubt;
Blessings of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding
Are available at my disposal, if so demanded.

Heavenly Father, I come before you humble,
Realizing that it was you saw fit for my life to not tumble;
Tumble in the abiss to a down spiral of misery,
Instead you gave me a family who prays for victory;
A son whose smile brighten my life every single time,
My wife who has been supportive since my first line,
Her girl who too has become another child of mine,
With backbone, Lord, and your will, I am just fine.

Heavenly Father, I come before you again
With the epiphany that Jesus is more than a friend;
He made the ultimate sacrifice when he was crucified,
So we all would have a chance to the tree of life;
I just would like to say thank you over and over,
Because I know my sins are evil as civilian and soldier,
If you decide to take me away from this earth,
Please forgive me alive same as faith with work.

Heavenly Father, I come before you...
