In Him I Live, Move and Have my Being
I woke up this morning with joy in my heart
God’s grace offered me a brand new start
And just as quick as I began to rejoice
The enemy came with a lie, he was trying to steal my voice
He said I was hopeless, inadequate, full of despair
There was no one who loved me, no one who cared
But nah it wasn’t gonna be that easy, no not today
He didn’t get the message that I have understanding of what God did inside of me.
See I know that it is in Him that I live, move, and have my being
My whole self, yes my thoughts and actions are caught up in Him.
There is no room for misery, confusion and strife, Only brand new life exists
Praise God it is enough for me to resist
The temptation of sin,
I am not going back again
For it is in Him that I LIVE, MOVE, and have my BEING!
