I search for you among disappearing dreams, fate has been unkind,
Nowhere. You are nowhere, why must you invade my mind?
Capturing spirits from times so long passed only the soul to feel,
What’s wrong? What’s right? What is fake? What is real?
Tricks of the mind, or is it only the shadows that have come to play?
Memories, lost youth, oh my soul, where are you today?
Disappearing light, and a wisp of fog shrouds an empty heart,
Lost to me forever more the loneliness, I as yet cannot comprehend,
Only this agonizing pain reveals a void without an end.
I will not search any further for where would lie the need?
Perhaps only timeless emotion would stop my heart’s bleed.
