Been so many months
Since you wrote to me.
Promised to be friends
Then stopped talking to me
Happy I was to believe
That best friends always we would be.
But in not time at all
You completely forgot all about me
Still, I sent you words
To show you how much I did cared.
None to me you have returned
I'm confused, hurt,depressed
Now clearly I understand
Message was loud and clear.
Maybe you didn't mean it all that way
But true friendship in my heart provides care
Perhaps you're too busy
But that's not an excuse
I pass no judgement at all on you
But still you made my heart blue!
You're preparing a new life
And a future brand-new
I always meant what I say
Friends are blessings, no less!
Didn't have to pretend
Wanted to be my friend
Sincerity I expected it
Why did you have to pretend?
Everyday I still wonder
After all of this time.
I hope you're very happy at last,
My friend I'm just thinking of you!
