The night falls as if slain by the sun,

Entwined are we.

The salvation for which you pine

Flares once, then dies.

Smothered by a velvet ebon nothingness.

All hopes must die!



Your heart desires no more.

How could you not understand?

Shadows surround us, crying

Sanctuary.

Swept away by the all-emcompassing dark

We have lost our light.
