Outside the rain is coming down
Tears cover my pillow
I scream but there’s no sound
The wind that blows
Take away my words
As the rain is coming down
I am being drowned
Smothered by worries
Rejected by those
In which I care
Carried away in a storm
Of frustration and despair
Water that is clear
Gray clouds are my fears
As it comes down
Something that was always there
There’s no explanation
Without a cause
Not understanding what I say
Because these feelings are not yours
Using symbols for words
You can’t explain
The rain and clouds
Represent my pain
As the wind blows
And carries it away
Only to go back
From the direction
In which it came
Trying to escape
Not able to define
Lost in a storm
To recover
What’s mine
