I wished it to be true

For us to be together again

Just me and you.



I have layed awake

At night in my bed

Thinking about

What might have been,

If I had not asked

That question there and then.



Now I have a chance

To see how things will go

If you do not leave me again

That is when I will know.



This relationship

I hope it will last.

I hope it will be better

Than in the past.
