THE WAY MEN LOOK AT WOMEN
When a man looks at his wife there is lust;
When he looks at his daughter lust is absent;
Lust has only appropriated containers.
The Bhagavad Gita says when two are alone
Lust arises; when not fulfilled there is anger;
Anger is the stifled unfullfillment of desire.
When a man looks at a woman with love;
He loves her from the earth to the sky; when
She loves him; it is from the sky to the earth.
A marriage is a contract with the state; when
“I do’s “are exchanged, the state says you will;
Contracts deal with proprietary rights,’’
The system of chattel is one of slavery; a
Mother can take care of twelve children, however,
Twelve children cannot take care of one mother.
There is not one king or emperor without a consort;
Their consorts are ever equal to them and rulership
Is most frictionless when women’s advice is taken.
Forced compliance has never worked out for women;
Perhaps this is why the emperor Napoleon was cuckolded;
The yin of water always finds its way around the yang rocks.
I look at woman as an invocation to wholeness; I see
Her as a veiled Isis ready to tell me what I need to know;
It is my inner female that holds the key to that unveiling.
