I’m sitting here all alone

With my scattered thoughts on the floor

As I pick them up one by one

Try and change the meanings

Of things that can’t be undone

And I’m sad

As I say goodbye to you one last time

As I stay still

So if you come back you’ll know where to find me



Never thought I’d wish it

But I wish I was numb

Never thought I’d say it

But I wish you were gone



I don’t want this day to end, no

So I hold on to the last  minute

When you turn from today and become my past

It takes every little bit

To watch you leave

I’d do anything to let go

You’re everything I can’t quit

And it takes every little bit of me



I’m scared to wish you gone

Because I can’t imagine never seeing you again

I’m living on memories

Between the times I see you

And it’s killing me

Cutting me so deep inside

Leaving scars I’ll never be able to forget

It hurts to feel



I have too much on my mind

How many times do I have to watch you walk away now?

And every time it breaks me down

‘Til I’m shattered little pieces on the ground

Can’t you see what you do to me?

‘Cause I’d do just about anything to have you

Don’t you know that?



I stay still
