~ a sequel to the poems~
“When I Tiptoe To Your Room”
“When I Sneak Into Your Room”
Tonight I’ve come to win your heart,
bestow true love ‘for I depart,
and tho’ we’ll start with one soft kiss,
I’ll not take leave till you’ve felt bliss.....
then I’ll steal your heart away.
By candles glow these hands shall feel,
‘neath silk and lace, charms you conceal,
so murmur sighs against my cheek,
we’ll slowly climb to passion’s peak.....
when I steal your heart away.
Have trust in me, I’ll calm your fear,
and whisper soft, so none will hear,
don’t wake the snoops who sleep above,
with pleasure’s cry, as we make love.....
when I steal your heart away.
In rapture’s glow, I hold your heart,
but now ‘tis dawn, I must depart,
and tiptoe softly from your room,
down the stair in shadows gloom.....
when I steal your heart away.
