puzzling my mind with

images

of nothingness

you captivate me

only

to let me down

we've tried this

many

times before only to

fail miserably

yet

you come back

asking

for more

I think of you at

times

where the sun heats

the small

of my back

remembering when you used

to do the same

before

you hurt my soul

beyond repair and recognition

I listen to your

sweet betrayals

and lies

as my heart crawls back

for more

I think of you when the

tears flood

out my bleeding eyes

as I try to prevent them

from

burning my face and mind

because I loved you

through

still loving you through
